So, whilst eating breakfast, working, exercising, or even in your down time, give these wholesome podcasts a listen and you may see life becoming serene.
1. Anything Goes hosted by Emma Chamberlain- Emma’s YouTube career expanded so much that other channels had to be made in order for her to release her creative output. Thus, Anything Goes was made. As the title suggests, anything really does go in this podcast, as Emma talks fashion, society, hair and mental health, all from the comfort of her bed.
2. Very Really Good hosted by Kurtis Conner – With over 200 episodes so far, Kurtis’ podcast is filled with extra conversations and laughs that couldn’t be contained in one of his YouTube videos. So, he sits in his super-cool 80s themed studio and talks about anything current, from social media, to TikTok's, celebs and crazy stuff that happens in his life, like when his tour bus set on fire...pretty crazy right?
3. The Psychology of your 20s hosted by Jemma Speg – Navigating your 20s is difficult. There are expectations about your studies, your career and your love life. Are you moving fast enough? Are you thinking about settling down yet? Do you have a busy social life, or is it not busy enough? There are many pressures, but Jemma helps to map this confusing time out. How to go at your own pace and not rise to others' expectations. She may be ‘unqualified’, but she holds great words of wisdom.
4. Time Alone hosted by Siobhan Lauren – Being given time to reflect on yourself is important, and that is what Siobhan provides guidance in. Helping to understand mental health and reflect on the needs you have and how everything is going to be okay. Comfort in the form of a one-way conversation, it may be strange, but it works.
5. Beyond the Screenplay hosted by Michael Tucker – Got a favourite movie? Chances are it has already been discussed in this podcast, and if not, it could be soon. Michael and a team of people talk about films, the effects, and what is so good (or bad) about them. Getting to understand your favourite films in depth and having a group of people talk passionately about the films you hold dear to you gives a real sense of community and encouragement. The team's back and forth conversations allow for lots of different interests and takes too.
